Tradition alive: Bega presents „Muse“ awards for the sixth time

On the evening of April 15, a traditional award ceremony for the theater creators was held at the Klaipėda Drama Theater. Regina Arbačiauskaitė, the theater, television and movie actress, was awarded for the merits of her life. The nomination “Mūza” ("Muse") was also presented to the director of the Klaipeda Drama theater Tomas Juočys.

Since 2016 according to a long-term contract, Klaipeda Stevedoring Company Bega has become a patron of Klaipeda Drama Theater and not only financially supports the theatre's activities, but also awards and encourages two creators of this theater each year.

Aloyzas Kuzmarskis, the Chairman of the Board of Bega, who presented the awards to the laureates of the “Muse” award on the stage, thanked the entire theater artists and staff "for creating the shrine of Klaipeda culture and art."

"We have to admit we are living in a very difficult time with quite difficult thoughts, moods and some uncertainty. However, in order to preserve our traditions, we must, of course, continue to cherish them. All the more so because the theater is exactly that institution, and the creators of the theater are those people who can restore and maintain the spiritual balance of many people”, - said Aloyzas Kuzmarskis, Chairman of the Board of Bega.
