The largest bulk cargo in the history of Lithuania will be unloaded at BEGA terminal

The largest bulk cargo in the history of Lithuania – a reactor for a new residue conversion unit – will be transported this summer to the only refinery in the Baltic States Orlen Lietuva.

The reactor will be loaded onto a trailer by Klaipeda Stevedoring Company BEGA in Klaipėda Port in the first days of August and sent to the refinery located in Mažeikiai District.

The transportation of the reactor will take more than half a month.

The reactor weights around 1,500 tons, and the total weight of the trailer with the cargo is expected to be 2,500 tons.

The logistics of the 100-meter long, 10 meter-high and 6.5-meter wide trailer will be handled by Mammoet.
